Here's the story.
Divorced when I was two.
Never experienced two parents living in the same household (that I remember, obviously) or getting along for that matter.
Well anyway fast forward 15 years. Graduation day.
This is one out of two pictures where all three of us are together. It seems unnatural for us to have a picture together.
I'm glad my dad is smart enough to realize this picture will actually mean something to me in the future. Or right that moment.
All said and done after that picture was taken, the moment was over, back to reality when I am in the middle.
Skip to November? I am now legally my mother's. I am not on my dad's health insurance and he isn't paying child support.
I don't even have a clear picture of how I feel about all of this. About them.

my best friend is my best friend.
when we get back together it’s like nothing has changed, everything is back where it should be and i love it.
we sat with two of our other friends and reminisced about high school and things of that nature it was wonderful.
maybe it’s so great because that’s when everything was great, and when i’m thinking about the past i don’t think about the present.
we still say the same thing at the same time and in the same tone over and over and over again.
we can still finish each others sentences and understand grunts.
i love this girl and the way we communicate.
she is and will be forever my best friend.
